Sabeena Ramrakhiani, MD, FACC, FASE
Sabeena Ramrakhiani, MD, FACC, FASE earned a medical degree from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research in Pondicherry, India, and she completed an internal medicine internship at St. Luke's Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. She then completed an internal medicine residency and a cardiology fellowship at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. During her cardiology fellowship training, she acquired a cardiac MRI and a cardiac CT interpretation certification.
Dr. Ramrakhiani is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Medical Association and the American Society of Echocardiography. She also serves as a volunteer clinical assistant professor of medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine's Fort Wayne campus.
Recognizing a great need, the American Board of Internal Medicine created in 2014 the cardiology subspecialty adult congenital heart disease. Dr. Ramrakhiani recently became the first physician in the area to pass the exam and acquire board certification in this subspecialty.
Ramrakhiani is also board certified in general cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine.
