Salah Elsaharty, MD, joined Kosciusko Medical Group in December 2015. A board-certified urologist with more than 35 years of experience, Dr. Elsaharty, who specializes in treating conditions associated with the male and female urinary tracts and the male reproductive organs, comes to KMG from his private practice in Anderson, Ind., which he operated since 1985. Prior to that, he was an urologist with Urology Group of Anderson for two years.
Dr. Elsaharty earned a medical degree from Cairo University School of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt, in 1972. After completing a residency in general surgery and urology in the United Kingdom in 1978, he completed post-graduate work (year one) at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1979, and post-graduate work (year two) in 1980 at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He also completed a urology residency at SUNY in Buffalo in 1983.
Dr. Elsaharty is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in England and Scotland, a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology and a member of the American Urological Association and the Indiana State Medical Association.
