About
Craig Hanson, M.D., FACOG, FPMRS, is a board-certified physician specializing in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. He provides nonsurgical and surgical treatment for conditions stemming from childbirth, aging, chronic disease, previous surgery or repetitive muscular strain. Effective treatment can repair damaged pelvic floor areas, minimize symptoms and help maintain quality of life.
As a urogynecologist, Dr. Hanson finds it incredibly rewarding to restore comfort, function and dignity to patients dealing with complex conditions like pelvic organ prolapse and pelvic floor dysfunction. He treats each individual as a whole person, rather than a collection of symptoms, and uses active listening to ensure that patients feel heard, understood and empowered to participate in decisions about their health journey.
Dr. Hanson enjoys singing, playing the cello and reading in his spare time. He also dedicates time to continuously learning about new procedures and advancements within his field and is actively engaged in medical research. He has published multiple peer-reviewed papers and presented research findings at national conventions.
