Brittney Hetrick, FNP-C, a certified family nurse practitioner, specializes in treating chronic, non-healing wounds that are not responding to traditional treatment, including wounds caused by poor circulation, diabetic ulcers, radiation therapy, surgery, pressure injuries or venous insufficiency, among other conditions.
Hetrick first became interested in wound care while working on her NP degree. She soon learned that most patients require multiple visits, which meant she could foster relationships with her patients because of the repeat encounters.
When she isn’t treating wound care patients, Hetrick enjoys gardening, yoga and taking walks.
