About
Nausheer Khan, M.D., is a board-certified gastroenterologist (GI) who diagnoses and treats digestive disorders involving the esophagus, stomach, large and small intestines, pancreas or liver. He manages a variety of conditions, including acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, diarrhea, constipation and inflammatory bowel disease, which can have a serious effect on a patient’s quality of life.
Becoming a GI appealed to Dr. Khan because it involved a mix of non-surgical patient care and minimally invasive procedures. His goal is to deliver care in a compassionate manner and avoid unnecessary procedures. He draws on his experience in an academic setting, which enabled him to remain up-to-date with changes and advances in his specialty.
When he isn’t caring for patients, Dr. Khan enjoys traveling (he has family as close as the Chicago suburbs), hiking, watching sports and enjoying movies.
