Alison Fecher, M.D., FACS, is a trauma surgeon who treats patients who have severe, life-threatening blunt force and penetrating injuries. Many of the cases Dr. Fecher handles involve operating on patients who have multiple critical injuries to the colon, pancreas, spleen and/or stomach.
Dr. Fecher previously served as an attending general and trauma surgeon at the Indiana University School of Medicine and Sidney Lois Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis. She has completed multiple grant studies and given several presentations on surgical techniques. She has contributed to several articles published in medical journals covering topics including cardiac and respiratory complications, complications in obese patients and nonfatal violence-related injuries among adolescents.
