Regina Bendler, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant who treats patients with severe, life-threatening blunt force and penetrating injuries. As a member of the Lutheran Health Physicians trauma surgery team, Bendler assists surgeons as they operate on patients who are critically injured and oftentimes suffering from multiple injuries to the colon, pancreas, spleen and/or stomach. Prior to joining Lutheran Health Physicians, Bendler served as a certified physician assistant with Valley Emergency Physicians in Los Angeles.
Bendler earned a bachelor's degree in criminology, pre-medical track, from the University of Florida. She later completed her postgraduate work in healthcare administration and management and physician assistant studies, both from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois.
