Alyssa DeTommaso, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant who provides women’s health services at each stage of life. She supports women as they maintain wellness, embrace motherhood, make life transitions and seek treatment for gynecological concerns. Services range from annual exams and prenatal care to treatment of female reproductive system disorders.
DeTommaso became a PA because her highest aspiration in life is to care for people. OB/GYN is the specialty area that truly resonated with her. It is where she learned that presence, empathy and trust can be just as powerful as any medical intervention. Being part of a woman’s journey - through the joys, the fears and everything in between - felt deeply meaningful in a way she hadn’t experienced before.
DeTommaso strives to connect with each patient to understand their perspective. She believes this helps foster a strong relationship and better supports the patient, both in terms of health and on a personal level. It’s also important that her patients feel informed and capable of making the best medical decisions for themselves and their families. More than anything, she hopes they leave each visit feeling safe, supported and confident - with a sense of peace until the next time they meet.
