Minxin Fu, M.D., PhD, FAAP, a board-certified pediatrician, comes to SJMG from Goshen General Hospital, where he was a pediatrician for two years. Dr. Fu's clinical interests include newborn care, obesity, ADHD and asthma.
He worked as an internal medicine physician at Union Hospital, Fujian Medical University in Fujian, China, from 1984 to 1987. He later graduated from the University of South Carolina in Columbia in 1996 with a Ph.D. and postdoctoral fellowship in biochemistry.
Dr. Fu was the medical and science director at Wellness Service, OXIS International in Portland, Ore., from 1998 to 2004, and he spent time as a research scientist at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Research Institute in Cleveland.
