Christopher Gullett, M.D., joined Lutheran Health Physicians after serving as a cardiovascular surgeon at Winchester Medical Center in Virginia. While in Virginia, he also held a faculty appointment with Virginia Commonwealth University as an assistant clinical professor. Dr. Gullett also brings years of clinical and administrative experience as a cardiovascular surgeon at College Station Medical Center in Texas, where he served as chief of surgery and surgical ICU director. Additionally, he held a faculty appointment as a clinical assistant professor with Texas A&M University's Health Science Center. Dr. Gullett cares for patients who require all aspects of advanced cardiovascular and thoracic procedures.
Dr. Gullett's training in Texas has included a total of six months of surgical oncology training at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. He has been fortunate to work and operate with various cardiac surgery pioneers. Dr. Gullett has contributed to research presentations and publications on various cardiac topics.
